Last Z event guide
What is State Ruler in Last Z
State Ruler is the Last Z event where whole states go to war for each other's Presidential Palace. Here is how it runs, how to earn the right to invade, what the winners get and how to follow every battle on HΞXHQ.
How the event runs
Times are Apocalypse Time, the game clock (UTC minus 2 hours).
Two weeks
Four states, one group
Four neighboring states are grouped together and matched at random. Winners then face winners and losers face losers in Round 2, until the final ranking is set.
Sunday to Friday
Contest for invasion rights
States win events across the week to earn Invasion Points. Every state fights for the same goal: the right to invade on Saturday.
Saturday 00:00
The invader is decided
From 00:00 to 00:30 the points are tallied. The state with more Invasion Points becomes the invader; from 00:30 to 23:59 its players can teleport into the defender's state.
Saturday 12:00
Capital Clash
Both sides fight for the defender's Presidential Palace (14:00 UTC). The first state to reach 100% capture progress, holding the Palace for one continuous hour, wins the round at once. If nobody gets there, the Palace goes to the side with the most capture progress when the contest ends.
How to earn Invasion Points
Points per event during the contest for invasion rights, from the game's own rules.
| Win the Alliance Duel (Diamond tier) | 180,000 |

| Full Preparedness champion | 1,000 |
| Send a truck | 100 |
| Plunder an enemy state truck | 50 |
The battlefield
The Capital
The building both sides fight for. Reaching 100% capture progress takes it and wins the round. In Capital battles, 30% of casualties are lost for good.
Turrets
Hold a turret while the enemy is capturing the Capital and it fires shells that rout part of the defending units. In turret battles, 5% of casualties are lost for good.
Combat rules
During the Capital Clash, troops from the same state cannot fight each other. Destroying a Headquarters inside the Capital area counts double for Destruction.
Commander's Descent
Only the invader's President or War Commander can use it, from one hour before the Capital Clash until it ends. After a 15 minute charge it scorches everything in a radius of 18 for one hour. Teleporting during the charge cancels it.
What the winners get
Contest Points Chest
Both sides collect Capital Clash Points during the battle and claim progress rewards.
Diamond Vein
The moment the Capital falls, six large Diamond Mines appear in the Capital area, and only the winning side can gather them.
Two extra official positions
If the invader wins, its state gets an Administrative Commander (construction and research speed) and a Military Commander (troop attack and defense) until the following Friday.
State Star Badge
Winning the championship unlocks the state's Star Badge and upgrades it, adding one star for every event won. Every state also gets ranking rewards when the event ends.
Who takes part
Every player in the state takes part, and unity decides the war. A higher HQ level matters: the lower the HQ, the harder it is to resist the enemy attack.
27/28
Invaders usually win
In Round 1 of bracket 193-256 on October 3, 2026, 27 of 28 invasions took the enemy capital. Only one defender held.
