Terms of use

HΞXHQ is a small, independent fan-made site. It is not endorsed by, affiliated with, or sponsored by the developers or publishers of the games featured in it. Game names and trademarks belong to their respective owners.

This page explains the rules of use in plain language. How we handle your data is in the Privacy policy.

HΞXHQ is in Early Access while it is being built. Features, rewards, dates, design and data may change, be delayed, paused or removed. Anything marked "coming soon" or "on the way" is a plan, not a commitment with a date.

We do not guarantee the site will always be available or free of errors. Outages or failures can come from us or from third parties (hosting, database, storage, the game itself or changes to it, data capture).

Donations through Buy Me a Coffee are voluntary and do not buy perks, points or a service. Paid memberships are paused; if they are offered again, these terms will explain how they work, how to cancel them and what happens if a perk can't be delivered, before anyone pays.

Points, VIP levels, Intel Points, titles and other rewards are cosmetic, have no cash value and cannot be transferred. During Early Access their thresholds, requirements and rewards may be adjusted; what you have already earned is not taken away, except for errors or fraud.

Rankings, results, stats and predictions come from interpreting screenshots and may contain errors. We fix them when we find them, and you can report them on the Feedback page. Nothing in the game depends on this site.

To the extent permitted by law, HΞXHQ is not liable for losses arising from the use of the site, its data or its temporary unavailability.

Early Access ends when the features marked coming soon are delivered and the site is stable; we will announce it on the News page.

Your privacy first. HΞXHQ is free and open to read: rankings, State Ruler, guides, tools, news and the blog are available to everyone. What the community builds is different: comments, profiles, avatars, predictions, contributions and each member's activity are only visible to other signed in members. That is how we look after the people who take part: people without an account can't see what members post. Game data is different: rankings, server profiles and stats show players' in-game names, alliances and stats as the game shows them (never their profile pictures), and anyone can see them. Without an account you can see how many comments and reactions each post has and a sample of HΞX TV. Creating an account is free and opens everything else. Creating an account, with the sign in link we email you, lets you comment, make State Ruler predictions, share videos and customize your profile.

You must be 16 or older to create an account.

You're responsible for what you post: comments, your profile and the videos you share. Illegal or hateful content, harassment, spam, impersonation and content unrelated to the site's games aren't allowed.

Usernames: when you create your account you get a random name, like Survivor_48213, that you can change whenever you want. Names are unique regardless of capitals, hyphens and underscores (if anaperez exists, Ana_Perez isn't available); if someone already uses your name, add numbers. A name has 4 to 20 characters and uses only letters (capitals or not), numbers, hyphens (-) and underscores (_). Names that impersonate HΞXHQ, its team or other people aren't allowed (for example HEX, HΞXHQ, admin or support). We keep a history of the names you used, to protect the community from impersonation; the random name you got at the start only enters that history if you commented with it.

Avatars: every member can choose any avatar, basic or portrait, or upload a photo of their own. The accolades you earn are shown on your player card. Uploaded photos are checked before other members can see them and must not show nudity or sexual content, violence or gore, hate symbols, drugs, personal data (yours or anyone else's), official logos or other people without their permission. We can reject or remove a photo that breaks these rules, and repeated attempts can lead to a sanction.

Donations are handled by Buy Me a Coffee under its own terms, including refunds. A donation is voluntary: it does not buy perks, points, badges or a service. A monthly donation renews through Buy Me a Coffee and you can cancel it there at any time; canceling stops future payments. Any rights that the law gives you still apply.

Anyone can report a comment, a user or a video. We review reports and may remove content or accounts that break these rules. If we remove something of yours and you want to know why, or think it was a mistake, email privacy@hexhq.blog.

Private rooms: what is said in a room on the HΞXHQ Discord follows Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. Report problems with a room or with our bot through the Feedback page.

Sanctions: we can mute an account (it cannot post for a while), suspend it (it cannot use the site until a date) or ban it (permanently). The account sees the reason on its status page and can appeal each sanction once. A banned account can download its data, and it is deleted 15 days after the ban, or after its appeal is rejected; while an appeal is under review, nothing is deleted.

HΞX TV videos belong to their creators. They're embedded from YouTube and the player only loads when you tap a video. HΞXHQ doesn't host or download them and doesn't claim authorship. We feature them to spread and promote community channels, with no intention of infringing anyone's rights.

If you're the creator and want your video removed, open it and use “Report” → “I'm the creator and want it removed”. The video is hidden right away while we review it. This only removes it from this site; the video stays on YouTube.

Rankings, results and stats come from in-game screenshots and may contain errors or omissions. They're provided as is, as a reference for the community.
